Kountry Cookin Soul Food - Memphis

Yesterday, my man got a good soul food place in memphis . the first place to show up was kountry cookin. when we first arrived, the line was sooo long, we almost went back. I don't know what has convinced us to stay, but baby, I'm so glad we both ordered two plates a piece just to try their different sorts. I had the baked chicken, mac n cheese, green for my first plate the second plate was meat-blading, kartoffels and green beaning!!! my man had chicken and dressing, mac n cheese green bean for his first plate crushed pork chops, greens and kartoffel plates for his second plate! if I say that all of these are good! whoever the chefs are almost hitting my oma good ole land eating!!! we rate this place a 10!!!!! if they have not been in kc, please give them a try! beautiful customer service and delicious food we will again!!!!

OMG when they say soul food they mean it! I got the lasagna with greens and Mac and cheese and it's absolutely amazing! Highly recommend and I will return anytime I'm working in the area

Kizzie was the greeter a d helped us soon as we walked in. This was our first time and definitely will recommend it to others that visit just like us. That bbq turkey leg was delicious btw. Thank you all for this great experience and delicious food service.

Food is good, served hot. Some of the sides are just doctered up canned goods. The portions are large for the price. You can dine in, take out, or order ahead for pick up.

The peach cobbler was great,the pork chop was a little too hard for me,I like mind med rare to make sure it's tender.smothered chops,Mac and cheese fried okra was pretty good.I would definitely go back,especially for the peach cobbler
