Joe's Crab Shack Horizon Center

Ya know, it's never enough! Birthday dinner not busy at all . Food comes hot and fast, ..But ..check with them first with spice on food. Just wanted plain hot legs, got very spicy crab legs. And they fixed it. And made it right, just steamed no spice. Was very good.. enjoy!

Food was great, well cooked only thing was the fried I felt was a bit greasy but everything else was great, waitress very nice and kept up when they were busy. Manager was nice to open the door for costumers and thank them for dining in and to have a good night. Would recommend this restaurant.

First, we were put at a table with very little room. My husband's knees were touching mine, and we had no room for our feet under the table. When I got up, I noticed our benches in our booth were closer together than all the other booths. We were struggling to sit comfortably. Second, our waitress never wrote down our order so we didn't get our appetizer. We sat there for 30+ minutes waiting on our food and expecting an appetizer the entire time. Then, my husband sat with an empty glass for a while before the waitress got him a refill. Anywhere else, as soon as that glass starts getting low, the waitress would have had him a refill. When we finally did get our food, my lobster was overcooked, dry and tough, which I ate anyway because I was so hungry and wasn't going to wait another hour for them to correct my food. My stuffed crab was very oniony and nasty (I only ate some). My rice was bland, which I did not eat.... Definitely not worth the $40 I paid for the plate. When we asked for the check, it took them 20 minutes to get it to us. I also left my waitress a 20% tip, which should have only been 10% with the quality of service/food we received. We have eaten here twice before with good experiences, but this was a deal breaker for us. We will never eat here again.

Everything was good up until the point I came across a long red strand of hair that was found in my shrimp scampi. After that my dinner was pretty much ruin. The waiter was really nice about replacing my dinner but by this time it's a little to quick to get past the trauma.

It was good. Hostess could have been more attentive. This is the one we stop at when visiting Memphis or passing through.
