Jim's Place Restaurant Bar - Memphis

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone at the moment. I've been dining at Jim's Place for about 20 years, but it has now been sold to Grisanti. If I wanted to eat at a Grisanti restaurant, I would have stuck with Frank's. I was really disappointed because not only was I unable to enjoy the meal I wanted for my birthday, but I also had to find another place to go. The menu felt very lackluster, and there wasn't even a specials list. I expected much more from this experience.

It was the opening night, and the restaurant wasn't fully prepared. I'll give it another shot in the future. This was my first time making an online reservation, and it worked perfectly. Thank you!

This is the second time I've made a reservation at this restaurant through OpenTable, only to arrive and find the place closed. The only thing on the door was a cheap, handwritten sign stating that they were closed for lunch and only open for dinner. If that's the case, they should not be accepting reservations for Sunday brunch. This restaurant has really deteriorated over the years, and I now understand the poor reviews on OpenTable, a service they clearly can't manage properly!
