Genghis Grill - Memphis

That was our second time eating in a genghis grill restaurant and we really liked it. it is like an oriental restaurant. they give them a bowl, can be small, medium or large, and they take and fill it as full as possible with various means, vegetables and other objects. there are also several flavored sauces, such as teriyaki, sweet and sour, etc. they leave their tablet and leave the chefs to make their job and they make it very good. you eat is cooked on a round stone grill. then go back to your table and wait for your food, and it's not a long wait. they can also choose a basic of fried rice, noodles and a few other things. my man and I have the medium and couldn't eat it all. the price is not bad either. the server at both locations were really nice and friendly. we would recommend to try genghis grill. it is now one of our favorites.

Our waitress was kind, I wish I had gotten her name. My friend and I went on our lunch break so we didn't have a lot of time. Our waitress was able to suggest the best food and it was made fast and tasted great!

This is the first time I’ve been to Genghis Grill since after all the COVID stuff. I can say I feel like the restaurant was cleaner BEFORE the pandemic. Our table had a “sanitized” coaster on it but it was dirty and had opened sugar packets. That doesn’t really seem “sanitized.” Our server cleaned off our table when I requested. She was nice so I have no complaints about her. The food did still taste about the same as I remember though.

It was good food but I wish they'd told us how it all worked. We've been to others that were different so we didn't know about the little cups being for sauces instead of in the bowl, that they'd bring it to our table, or even that we were ordering the make it ourselves bowls when is just begun to look at the menu and planned to order it made a a specific one but never had that option. Had to dig for cash because they couldn't check us out due to something being down. We almost never have cash so I was lucky to barely have enough today and I'm sure many others weren't as lucky but they weren't telling it until people were ready to check out. Waited have us good service other than not asking if we'd ever been there before and telling us about it.

First and last time ordering!! Ordered online 4:01 and informed 4:30 p/u. Pulled up curbside 4:36 and clicked the I'm outside link. Called inside around 4:45 3x no answer. Meanwhile customers being seated, customers coming out and employees looking out at curbside through the window. 4:55 entered building asked for food. Food sitting prepared just waiting. Have no one idea how long it had been sitting!! Also, need a microscope to see the poor salad shrimp
