Elena's Taco Shop - Memphis

Delicious food and friendly staff my only notes would be at times it is so smoky in the restaurant your eyes water from the cooking smoke. Also I’ve tried to buy gift certificates for Christmas and they had run out of them. They asked me to return in two days and they would get some for me. I returned in 2 Days and no gift certificates. I needed them for an event that 2nd day and had to go elsewhere unfortunately.

The tortillas and salsas are always freshly made and delicious. Multiple salsas to choose from. The prices are fair and my orders are always correct. The sides of beans and rice are really tasty, too. My 2 regulars are the chicken burrito with fresh fries inside or the fish tacos and always sides of rice and beans. This has become a staple for me and have never been disappointed.

Let me start by saying my wife don't mess with mexican food no matter how much I have tried but I ordered the steak Taco and a fish taco and the surf and turf now she ate her food and started on mine need I say more. The surf and Turf was the best burrito I have ever had

Had a great shrimp burrito for lunch today steak and shrimp burrito 2 days ago. This is a refreshing break from ground beef simmered in red sauce served on differently shaped tortillas that you get everywhere else. I will definitely be coming back.

Amazing! I normally get the street tacos because they're so simple and delicious, but I got the surf n turf burrito today. Wow! The thing was massive and tasted amazing!
