Delta's Kitchen - Memphis

We stayed at the Guesthouse at Graceland and our family had dinner here. The three important take-aways were 1) the food is really good, 2) there is no kids menu, and 3) the staff is polite and attentive, but very new or not fully trained.While the kids were able to get some decent food that they enjoyed, there is not a specific selection for kids. The drinks were good, but it was very obvious that they were not familiar with any of our choices. The martini came in a whiskey glass and the champagne came in a red wine glass (see pic). The did not know what a pinot noir was; we had to point to it on the menu. That said, the staff was very nice and attentive and we really appreciated the accomodations of a party of 7.The food was great all around, though! I had the salmon over spinach with sweet potato crisps and it was great.

Nice dinner at hotel. We had a long day of travel and really didn't want to have to leave hotel. Service was attentive, food was a nice meal of southern food, elevated. The chicken and waffles were really good.

Very dissapointed. The servers at the buffet wore gloves only half the time while handling the food. I saw one take her gloves off to scratch her head and touch her face then dealt with replacing the food on the buffet before putting other gloves back on. Two of the servers had pony tails and kept holding their hair out of the way of the food. Seeing this made me start to lose my appetite. The person making omeletts was wearing a hair net and gloves, why wasn't anyone else? There was 3 of us and were charged for 6. At first they didn't believe us until someone else told them it was just us 3. The food was barley warm. Who ever is in charge of Delta's Kitchen needs to take the negative reviews seriously and see how they can improve things.

We needed just a light dinner the evening we went to Delta’s Kitchen since we had a big lunch earlier in the day so we each ordered a small plate to share with our drinks. Every plate was delicious and the service was excellent. It was exactly what we needed after a long day of touring the city plus it’s super convenient since it’s right in the Guest House hotel complex. Linda

Very good food… a bit pricey… but I expect to pay a little more on vacation…. I would eat here again
