Blackstone Steakhouse - Melville

I was a guest several times, but the service yesterday was very slow....we always had to ask where our food was, and we can have more water.

Yesterday evening 3/11/23. I've been here before. Worst experience and will not return. Had two waiters who were so busy, it was hard to get their attention. The bread they gave on the table was burned and had no taste. Caesar Salat was good, but came with a breadstick that looked like it came out of the bathroom and didn't taste much better. I left it on the side. I got the bone in Filet Special. It was seldom cooked medium as required, but it was cool to touch, and carburized black on the outside. The taste was overwhelming. I smashed potatoes, which was Luke-warm. My wife enjoyed her salmon and mushroom side. For dessert, I ordered the Donut Special. When the waiter explained that it came with ice. He didn't mention the ice was an upgrade. A hit $4. My wife got a hot tea and asked for water replenishment. They calculated their $4.50 for each water filling. They offered her extra tea bag, but she never used it. There are better chic restaurants. We'll try, the next time we have a special occasion. Too bad. $290 down. And in the past, this place was so good, so I don't know what changed.

Eating was just fine my girl got a caesar salad with chicken 37$ on total demolition Brussels Sprouts had no taste or any taste. Wouldn't be back to choose so many other better restaurants. Save your money.

Blackstone always provides outstanding service and food . Went for Hubbys birthday , I had sushi and he had steak, both were good. Didn’t love my lychee martini but the wine was good. We got a complementary birthday donut and candle even though we didn’t order dessert which was really nice and unexpected . Will be back again .

I love all of the Scotto Brother's restaurants, but this is my favorite. Everything is cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. Until next time...
