Sunview Cafe - Melissa

We've been to the new Melissa location and have had couple of bad experiences. First time the server was somewhat rude. On another visit the hash brown was overcooked, dry and hard to eat. Sunview Cafe is normally good but need to make improvements inMelissa.

Food was good. It was a little loud, and the waitress was a bit quiet. The south side of the building had no shades so it was a bit bright. The waiting area backs up to some of the tables, and it felt like ppl were standing overe as I was eating. I'llprobably go back but try to not go at a prime time

Similar to its sister locations in McKinney, this place is quite good. I’m giving it four stars because I ordered my eggs runny, but they arrived fully cooked. Nevertheless, I highly recommend the Philly cheese steak skillet; I think the other locations should include it on their menus. As seen in the photo, it comes with crispy hash browns and unfortunately, hard eggs. ????

We went in around 1:30 PM. The place has a nice atmosphere, but the customer service from our waitress was disappointing. She was quite sassy with my wife for asking questions about the eggs, which was frustrating since we had never been there before. We live in the subdivision right behind the restaurant, so we would have likely returned. Unfortunately, the grits and chicken-fried chicken were bland and lacked any seasoning.

The staff is amazing! They are genuinely caring and professional. They continue to excel in their service. A special thanks to Shelly, who goes above and beyond to ensure that you are well taken care of!
