Bidrage med feedbackJust poking around the big island and found this cafe, good service, great meals and great view, a must visit cafe in Palau, noodle soup was wicked
The only restaurant in Melekeok, open only until 4pm. Good and quite cheap food. Serving all sorts of foods from Pad Thai other international dishes.
When driving to see the capital grounds we happened to find this small restaurant/deli/cafe. Worth the drive food was super, staff was friendly and the setting (we sat on the porch overlooking the water) was very pleasant. It ranked quite high among all the meals we had in Palau. Three of us had the fresh wahoo sandwich and it was served on a fresh long bun, with pickles and great fries. The fourth person had basil stir fried pork which he liked a great deal. Other food we saw looked great too....Since it's open from 8 to 4, make sure to go before it closes!
We found this little amazing place after exploring the island back roads for half a day. Friends had mentioned an excellent little cafe, and when we eventually found it we were thrilled. Beautiful setting right on the beach, and couldn't ask for more. We were offered local dishes with chicken, pork or grilled steamed fish. We opted for the steamed local fish, which had just been caught and was cooked with ginger, local veg and spices in a delicious sauce served with rice and salad. This was one of the best feeds we had, and I wish could go back for more.
How can you NOT love this little place? It's adorable and the view is stellar! It's literally ON the beach. I was doing some work at the National Capitol and was referred here by the Senate staff. Low prices, huge portions and it's possibly the only restaurant anywhere near the Capitol.
