Xing Mentone - Melbourne

This classic Chinese restaurant brought back nostalgic memories of my childhood. The sweet and sour pork and spicy salt and chilli calamari were absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, the restaurant was only offering takeaway services due to being understaffed. I would definitely order from here again!

The food at this restaurant is absolutely amazing! I can't comprehend the negative reviews. The dumplings are hands down the best I've ever had (and I've had a lot). Everything else we've tried from their menu has also been perfect. Definitely worth a try!

The service was excellent, the food was fresh, and the prices were reasonable. We were the only ones dining in, even though there were numerous takeout orders.

Favourite local Chinese place, happy to modify dishes to suit you as well. I get the fried chicken ribs all the time they're done with cornstarch/potato starch so good for gluten sensitive people super quick delivery or dine in. Noodles are also always yummy dry beef rice noodle or combination seafood with egg gravy. Lovely waitress and super friendly each time. I'd stick to the homestyle Chinese dishes as that's what they excel at.

Food tasty well presented fresh and reasonably priced we have so far ordered online and today met the owner in person, lovely personable and helpful with the menu , definitely recommend and looking forward to yum cha ..cheers to local businesses
