Theo's Fish Bar - Melbourne

Have been going here since it opened, but only 2 weeks ago went again, my husband returned with the Fish n chips and they looked different, I had to ask if he got them from Theo's, he said yes, well they were terrible. I had to investigate further only to find out that they have changed owners. How disappointing indeed that the produce was so noticeably different. Shame really as the previous owners had it spot on. Dont know where we are going to go for our Fish n chips from now on, Guttered

Yummy batter which i have never had before (I'm 52). Delicious, nice and light. Gluten free environment with a separate grill and fryer for dim sims and burger buns. Wish the dim sims were gluten free! And why not get some gluten free rolls.

You know it's a great Fish n' Chips shop when they have 6 or more staff on duty to keep pace with the orders! Always pleasantly sated after a meal of GF battered seafood. Nice big pieces of fish and decent serves of chips. Situated...More

Lovely fast service and a fresh modern store. Salad cabinet looked great... will try them next time. The chips were delicious and the fish was fresh. We had flathead, chips and potato cakes. Generous serves too! Batter was crispy and not greasy tasting but just too thick and stodgy which spoilt the lovely fish. Will try again... as it may have just been the staff on the night.

Fish and chips, potato cakes, dim sims....all gluten free, open from 11 am daily. The bestest gluten free fish and chips EVER.... A real treat....
