The Royal Hotel Essendon - Melbourne

On Thursday, May 5th, my friends and I met for lunch at a pub. The menu featured typical pub food and I was able to use my Monty's card to receive a discount. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly.

This restaurant has great potential. My friend and I recently had lunch here and we had a good time. The bar and the game room are popular features that add to the atmosphere. It is disappointing that some traditional establishments prioritize profit over maintaining their role as community gathering places.

The owners of this restaurant are typical of a traditional ALH establishment. Some dishes have been pre-cooked before being served, which is understandable given the small size of the kitchen. I have noticed that dining at an ALH-Pub is a convenient but pricey option for many customers.

The royal is not fantastic, but it has everything they would need in a neighboring republic. it has a playroom (which is popular) and a pub tab. there is a good sportable with cold beer on hahn. it also has a bistro, the good...pub-grub style meals served there is also a passing bottle shop. the only thing missing is the happy hour that is in the break. the personal is friendly, I often fall for a beer.

The Royal is a typical suburban pub. The interior is a bit drab, and most drinkers seem to go for the happy hour. The inevitable PubTAB and games room are not my cup of tea. The dining room serves good, economical meals, which is the...Royal's saving grace.
