The Dining Room - Melbourne

That was a wonderful eating experience. eating was amazing and the service was excellent. the personal was very helpful in our selection. I also enjoyed the music.

Went for pre show dinner and was extremely happy with our choice. Great attentive friendly staff with excellent food. One of our party was vegetarian and loved her 3 course meal. We will definitely be returning.

The dining room is a bland, drab room with below average food and overzealous service. The entree was completely flavourless ocean trout with a cold consommé. Rather like eating scraps of fish from dishwater, with limpid cucumber slices. The main was rather nice lamb with lovely carrots, but the hasselback potatoes were completely undercooked and inedible and when I pointed this out to the enthusiastic but unintelligent waiter, there was no acknowledgment whatsoever. The same waiter whisked away our bread plate and drinks before we had finished and seemed to be eager to move us out of the restaurant. The coffee was excellent, but I would not recommend this as a dinner venue, despite its convenience to the theatre

A nice place to dine especially prior to an Arts performance. Menu was great service was good.

Lovely venue for a meal prior to the theatre. We were happy with the portion sizes, and the service from the staff was excellent. Tables were not too close together. We would go back to this venue again.
