Bidrage med feedbackSuch a fantastic first day back dining in restaurants, I’ll never take this for granted ever! We finished the night with the most delicious pancakes! The pancakes were so thin and yet fluffy with such amazing crispy edges! The staff are AMAZING, you would never believe they’ve just been through (and continue to go the rough) some of the most challenging times ever for hospitality BUT make their customers feel so valued and welcome, such a fantastic night!!<br/ . <br/ 1. “Build Your Own Dessert Pancake” 1 Pancake with Strawberries<br/ 2. I really love Stoker's. It really is the only place you can chill, have a chat and coffee at 10pm. The owner is super nice and friendly too. It's just got such a good atmosphere. The music is always good (also not too loud so you can actually have a conversation). And on top of all that, it's really delicious. They have sweet and savoury options, yummy coffee and a good selection if you want a wine or beer. Definitely recommend.
My new favourite dessert place is @stokersfinepancakes in South Melbourne. I love how the pancakes are thinner than the average pancake and the fillings are tucked within the layers. This means every bite is full of flavour! We ordered the caramel pear, caramel spiced apples and the banana flambe. Try the pancake chips too! The servings are big, you can even share one plate between two or three plates between four. The ambience is super warm and homely perfect for catch ups or a sneaky date. Oh they also have wine and whisky if you want to end your dessert with a night cap. My kind of place.
Delightful and hearty pancake dishes in a quaint little cafe. Really enjoyed every element of the bechamel cauliflower pancakes, and the quirky wall decorations. I do think salt and pepp on the tables would be a nice touch.
Stokers served both sweet and savoury pancakes and were open most days until midnight, making it a great late night hang out/dessert joint. Their pancakes were more of a crepe-consistency and style, although their savoury pancakes were more burrito-style than that of a galette. Regardless of what you’d call them, both were equally delicious and satisfying. Service was always friendly, and their wooden décor although felt a bit dated made the ambiance cosy. Stokers was always one of my top dessert destinations.
