SPQR Pizzeria - Melbourne

Well crafted pizzas, icy cold beer. Not a lot more one could ask for, except perhaps not blasting the music quite so loud in a mostly empty restaurant.

We stumbled on spqr looking for a pre show meal and what a find!! The venue was great with excellent music but cosy enough to have a conversation and a drink. Meals were served efficiently. The pizza was devine. It's napoli style with the thin base and the perfect amount if toppings. Delicious! My friend had the gnocchi and reported back that it was delicious. Definitely recommend a visit to the pizzeria. Vegetarian options available, and there's a "not pizza" menu for folks who want something else. They also do takeaway!

During a recent visit to Melbourne, we came across SPQR Wood Fired Pizza and it was a real gem. We stopped in after an AFL game and were greeted like long-lost friends. The service was top-notch, with attentive and humorous staff. The pizzas were fantastic and the tiramisu was out of this world. We will definitely be back next time we are in Melbourne.

We stumbled by this awesome place... totally booked but they accommodated us at this great community table. Very cool place. The awesome small menu makes it easy to decide.The pizza was delicious as well as the salads and antipasto ...All the boys that helped us were super nice....
