Short Round - Melbourne

Being both fussy and indecisive I asked my waitress what she recommends and she steers me to the house smoked salmon with poached eggs, hollandaise, green beans, beetroot and a rosti. I am embarrassed just writing down that list!!! Great produce, well cooked and seasoned. Delicious! The kind of place I wished were closer to my house. The menu is inventive and I will definitely need to work my way through it! Great service too.

A chic cafe offering good coffee and quite an interesting and diverse menu. The omelette got the thumbs up from our party as did the aromatic coffee. Just be aware that the kitchen closes at three , so don't leave your run too late!!

We were here early morning around 7.15 AM on Monday and ordered bacon beetroot avocado citrus rocket and omellete sourdough. it is big portion, serve 2 people for 1 meal for small eater. the cafe is beautifully designed. I think it is a korean western fusion because they have 2 korean meals.

I'm a big lover of breakfast and coffee, in saying that the coffee is average and I wouldn't class them as No.1 for breakfast in Thornbury. Getting a seat was difficult, as there was barely any tables left... compliments of patrons who've ordered 1 coffee and spend hours reading the paper. Overall it's ok, but would prefer to go somewhere with more personal service and staff that can actually listen to what's required when you order.
