Seouljaboy - Melbourne

Visited after seeing their instagram and review from prominent Melbourne blogger. don't believe the hype. Food is well below average for Melbourne standards and really over priced paid $150 for 2 people for tough chewy pork belly (which looks nothing like they post on instagram) bland tuna, and fatty as beef ribs. Guys in charge couldn't not give a dam either feel sorry for the poor 2 waitress that are trying to keep the show running

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant with delicious Korean tapas-style dishes. The atmosphere was lively and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend it to others.

Absolutely awful. A group of 14 of us came here tonight and it was atrocious. Food was exceptionally slow, the meat was chewy and unable to cut, the taco thing (what ever you call that) was gross, none of us could get past our first mouthful of the rice pudding. To top off one of the worst dining experiences we've had in a long time, we complained to the waiter who tasted our dessert - with one of our spoons! - and said "oh that's not right, it's probably because they're 2 days old".We then ended up being charged $60 per head, the entire hilarious & inedible experience took over 2.5hrs....flabbergasted & all we can do is laugh - and go and find a burger somewhere!Avoid this place at all costs!!

I went to Seoulja based on a friend's recommendation. The first issue we encountered was the uncomfortable seating, and when we asked to switch tables, the waitress was hesitant. We were surprised to hear that the sashimi fish was steamed, as that wasn't what we ordered. The pork belly platter we did order was disappointing. Overall, the experience was underwhelming. We had expected better quality food for the price.

We ate at the restaurant on Friday 12 May and it was absolutely unreal. We ordered several plates and every one of the plates was SOOOO delicious. We enjoyed a few glasses of white wine and a bottle of soju which is recommended. We will be back!
