Picnics At The Stables Of Como

Presentation was beautiful. A wonderful idea but the food lacked flavour. Also too much . We would have managed with one lot for four people

Great day out. We made the mistake of paying per head so we ended up being a box home because there was too much food. Will only pay for one person next time. Food was nice and fresh. Staff were friendly. Overall great day out, I have already been recommending it to people.

The grounds at Como House are beautiful and perfect for a picnic. However we were let down by our picnic hampers as they weren’t ready for us at our arrival time, they confused ours with another order and the price we paid vs what we received was disappointing. Save yourself $120 and pack your own picnic.

Such a lovely time in the gardens. The food was fresh and plentiful. Great wine selection also!

Unfortunately my experience was far from what I had hoped and expected it to be. I had booked a time and would have thought they would have been ready for our arrival. We had to wait at least 30 minutes for our food to be ready to go and then the basket and rug to be located and given to us. I was most disappointed that we did not receive many of the items that were listed on the prepaid menu. It seemed to be just a load of cold cuts, pretzels and cheese ends that were mostly inedible rind. The quality and quantity of food certainly did not reflect the price paid. Overall a disappointing experience :
