Loved the setting of Paco's Tacos - super casual rooftop, bright colours and loud music - but the food was just ok, which, when there are so many better Mexican options in the city, won't have me coming back. The star of the show was definitely the croquetas. I could just have, like, ten servings of those and I'd be happy! But for a tacos restaurant, that's not exactly the idea. Ok for a lunch break option, but not really worth having to travel to.
The service itself could always be quicker itself a little bit more, however, I am not too bothered by this if this is made freshly on a daily basis. Fresher tacos are better for $6.50. Good cheap eats for visiting with friends or family with very tasty tacos. Could have more delicious tacos on the menu more, but think the lack of soft drink availability should go first! Definitely worth coming to for brunch and lunch in summer/autumn/spring when it is nice outside.
We went for dinner at this restaurant on a Wednesday night. It was a bit tricky to locate, but TripAdvisor guided us (through a side alley and up some stairs). We really enjoyed the atmosphere. You order at the bar, making it convenient to split the bill. We tried the pork nachos, which were delicious. The pork was incredibly tender.
I recently dined at a restaurant in Eastland, Ringwood. The tacos were delicious and fresh. The Barramundi taco had a generous portion of fish and was very flavorful. However, the cost can add up quickly as each taco is $6. The decor had a Mexican theme and the staff were friendly and attentive.
