If there was a perfect way to make amazing nasi goreng, and there are many variations, this restaurant has nailed it! For the past 4 or 5 years, I have been visiting this small and bustling eatery for their delicious nasi goreng and my second favorite, seafood char quay tow. The freshly made stir fried dishes are simply outstanding. Another dish worth trying is the basil fried rice with chicken, but I'll let you discover your own favorites. The restaurant may be small, noisy, and busy during lunchtime, but the fantastic food makes it all worth it. Just drop by and try a dish, you won't regret it.
I have visited this restaurant many times over the years and have always enjoyed the consistently good Asian food at an affordable price. The indoor seating is limited and it tends to get crowded during lunchtime, so try to arrive early. There is outdoor seating available, but I prefer to take my food to a nearby park. Despite other restaurants closing down in the area, this place continues to thrive and always has the longest line of customers.
This is a bit of a hidden gem, but that's good because there's not a lot of seating. The food is always excellent value for money, and that's why you'll so often find a big queue outside when other eateries nearby are ignored. Especially on a cold day, the yummy hot food is the way to go! But because it's so popular, be prepared to wait if your're there at lunchtime.I love the kway teow and laksa, but my friends rave about their other dishes too.
