Olive Tree Sunbury - Melbourne

I came to the Olive Tree in Sunbury for a meal to end the weekend. Parked in the rear carpark and followed signs to  through the beer garden to head to the bistro. Got inside and was told we had to walk around (past all the signs pointing this way).... Short wait to be seated, and the ataff was very friendly. The main waiter was very polite, by apologising for the interruption when asking if we waned drinks and again when we ordered dinner.<br/ <br/ The menu had a great selection of food. I eyeballed a meal being taken to another group and had to ask what it was. <br/ <br/  I also saw the Salt and Petter Calamari and Prawn dish being taken to a table and decided to go with that.<br/ <br/ Just when I was preparing for the usual 10-15 minute wait, my meal arrived. it looked fresh and tasty... and it was indeed.<br/ <br/ The calamari and prawns had the lightest bater which wasnt overwhelming like it usually is.<br/ <br/ Chips were thick cut and crisp. The salad was also fresh and nicely dressed.<br/ <br/ Very nice place, freindly staff, fast service and great food. hard to find a place with all of these.<br/ I look forward to returning.

Parmas were not to bad but the service was fairly ordinary they forgot about the $1 keno ticket that we were supposed to get with our meals nearly out the door and also forgot the drinks order at one point would probably not rush back there .

Great job. Thanks to management and staff for a great customer experience. Coffee was awesome. Salmon patties yum but too big. We will be back !

Mrs Jill Birkett. We went too Olive Tree for Xmas lunch having paid more than 700 dollars for 8 adults and 5 kids we expected a better deal. Entree took nearly 2 hours to arrive main meals below par, no Santa and no music we asked for extra rolls for kids because they were starving request denied. We will not recommend or return.

Just stopped by, loved by all!. My family and I drove past and decided last minute to eat here as we were driving through back to Melbourne. There was 9 people in our group, including my grandparents who order the same meal everywhere they go.<br/ We didn’t have an expectations when we walked in and realized it was very deceiving from the outside. The interior was modern and very welcoming. The staff were beyond attentive and very friendly.<br/ The food, my goodness the food was good!!! I ordered the chicken, pumpkin and spinach risotto and have never had a risotto that good EVER!! It was amazing! All 9 of us loved loved loved our meals we chose. My partner had Cajun Chicken Slaw Salad (Cajun rubbed chicken tenderloins on crispy bacon, smashed chat potatoes crunchy slaw) and loved it! My grandparents who have fish and chips, and a parma everywhere loved their meals and they know something about those dishes haha.<br/ <br/ Overall we loved dining here and will definitely come back here again. Highly recommend!
