Nandos Swanston St - Melbourne

We were very happy to come across nandos after missing it so much being from the UK. This restaurant is very small and cramped and have no toilet facilities. Only had 1-2 sauces available not the 6-7 shown on the menus. Good value and nice service though.

Went during a dinner period food was good, but they need to clean tables more often as they were left dirty. They were not overly busy and found it was not value for money went for the peri peri chicken.

Every year we visit Australia and one thing that we will always do regardless of which state we visit, is to try Nando's. So far, the high and consistent quality of Nando's chicken never fail us (even those in New Zealand and Singapore where we are from, are nowhere near the standard here). The chicken were very well marinated and cooked to perfection. Complimented by the various peri peri extra hot and hot sauces, make the already tasty grilled chicken heavenly. The meat is tender and juicy, with the nicely deep fried fries over mayonnaise sauce, what more do you want? It was dinner time and the restaurant was quite busy but service was efficient and prompt and staff were friendly and nice. We enjoyed the meal so much that throughout our stay in Australia this time round, we had Nando's at least 3-4 times (like a visit once an alternate day though at different outlets). Highly recommended!

This restaurant serves delicious peri-peri chicken and fries! It's conveniently located across from the Victoria National Library on Swanston Street. The interior offers a nice atmosphere where you can enjoy watching the different people walking and sitting around.

The Portuguese chicken and chips at this restaurant are absolutely delicious. The food was very tasty and the restaurant itself was clean. I also enjoyed the burgers and the variety of options for spiciness levels with the chicken.
