Mughouse - Melbourne

I highly recommend this small, simple cafe in the city. They offer excellent food and coffee at a fair price.

Had a Saturday morning breakfast and coffee. Treated myself to the buttermilk pancakes which were nice but could have come with more syrup. Coffee was decent. Service was good.

The poached eggs on avocado toast was awesome, the toast cooked just right so it was easily cut but not too soft either. The coffee was also pretty good. Sorry no photo as i was hungry and not thinking about taking a snap. There is a team stop right outside so easy access for an on the way to work brekkie

This hidden gem is located on Collins Street and can be easily overlooked by passersby. This is unfortunate because they offer fantastic lunch options for takeout, with fresh and tasty food, excellent service (order at the counter), and delicious chicken wraps. Don't forget to try their drip chilled coffee as well.

Have been to this place before, service is good, but there is no table service. Kitchen is quick, and the food is tasty. I had pancaked that were to die for and a freshly juiced drink and a double espresso and it didn't break the bank. Like this place, they also have the newspapers if you have a bit of time to kill like I did.
