Middletown - Melbourne

Really impressed. Coffee was tasty and well made - no burnt coffee grounds in the bottom of the cup. Had the Tropical Smoothie and the Benedict dish with ham hock. Great stuff.

The food here is fabulous, I thoroughly enjoyed my mushroom dish, and the coffee is just so, so good. Beautiful elegant but simple decor. Look forward to returning.

The food here is a work of art. I chose the avocado which came in a log of polenta with beetroot, pomegranate seeds, corn and eggs. I wasn't sure what to expect from the menu description but I was very impressed when my meal arrived. It was spectacular! The restaurant itself is bright, fresh and modern. The treats at the front counter are also very tempting!

I have to give 0.5 Stars for having the Fin Review available - take note competitors, you can easily add to the normal Herald Sun (lots of pics, big headings and, short sentences) so often served up.Service was really friendly and welcoming - could not be faulted during the visit.Food was well above average. Check the granola served with coconut yogurt! One of the party asked for some extra yogurt to accompany the grainy granola - no problem.Coffee was excellent and quick on the table.Well done to this youngish venture; although not in the busiest section of the Prahan precinct (i.e. along or just off Chapel Street) definitely worth walking off the beaten track.
