Mama's Bbq Chicken Salad - Melbourne

The wait times at this restaurant were very long. We preordered our food, arrived at the designated time, and still had to wait an additional 15 minutes. The most disappointing part is that the food we received was not fresh. They served us items from the older batch that had been sitting out all day because they didn't make enough fresh ones.

My experience at this restaurant was pleasant, with friendly service and options to sit indoors or outdoors. I ordered a Halal Snack Pack with thick slices of spiced lamb, but found it to be overly salty. The BBQ sauce was also too thick for my liking, detracting from the overall flavor. On a positive note, the chips were delicious - crispy and well-seasoned.

The souvlaki at this restaurant is fantastic! The staff is always friendly. The meat is perfectly cooked with a lovely smoky flavor. They have a nice selection of salads to choose from. Highly recommended for a relaxing evening dinner or lunch.

“FLAVOUR FLAVOUR FLAVOUR” I can assure you is what you will get! The juicy chicken wings that are so crunchy when you bite into it, and the juicy cooked chicken seasoned to perfection or even the Greek salad. Always so clean, always so damn delicious! The rave really is all that! Amazing!

Being a local I was super excited that a local place had gotten so much hype and was being raves about. However upon visiting, I was severely disappointed. It’s a below average chicken shop, nothing special. They were pretty much sold out of everything that they hyped up on social media. The dude from the Facebook videos was just sitting behind the bench and didn’t even greet us when we entered.
