Lord of The Fries Fitzroy - Melbourne

As a vegetarian, lord of the fries is our go-to midnight snack, however I need to specifically acknowledge the Fitzroy team and their lovely hospitality, kindness and strength to push through the Saturday 1am shift every, week. I don’t know how we would survive our weekends without this amazing group of people. Thank you Abi and team

I had heard a lot about this chain, so maybe expectations were high.. But my experience here was quite unpleasant. Neither did I enjoy the taste of the mock meat, nor of burger buns or fries. Also, I would have wished for more veggies in a burger than plain iceberg lettuce. On top of that, the interior of the restaurant was dirty and smelly. Staff was sweet, though. And prices here are comparably cheap... But so was the quality. Lord of the Fries is a chain that is common in Melbourne. Most stores offer food only for take-out, but this particular branch even offers seating.

All the chicken are synthetic meat and over cooked, and not cheap, I’d rather spend $10 less to have the yummy mc or kfc. Looks healthier.

The food was incredibly tasty. The customer service was even better. I was so impressed by the servers kindness, compassion, understanding and patience. It was such a delightful fast food experience. As a vegetarian usually our options are very limited. The menu all looked delicious. Well done lots of the fries you should be proud of your team! Best shoestring fries in town.

What used to be a highlight to my trips to Melbourne from Sydney was a nice packet of Canadian Chips. Haven't been to Vic in over a decade. Saw that there was a store open near me and guess what.... just like the book it's chapter was closed. Very sad.
