Fratellino Pizzeria - Melbourne

This restaurant in my neighborhood is a family-friendly pizza place with a small wood stove. They certainly know their pizza, but unfortunately, they struggle to keep up with demand. It can take quite a long time to get your order, especially during busy periods. Be prepared to wait 30 minutes to an hour for your food.

Make sure you dress light- I’ve never been as hot and uncomfortable in a restaurant. This is compounded by the workout required to cut the undercooked pizza base or wait and wait for another bottle of water. Then don’t expect any of the waitress to...clear the cluttered table, they are too busy talking!

We are big frats fans and used to live around the corner and go there weekly. Got takeaway the other night and it was almost inedible. Pizza was honestly like a 1 out of 5!!! Really really disappointing. The pizza was hardly cooked.

This is probably my favourite Italian restaurant in Melbourne. That being said, I have a few thoughts I’d like to share. The pizza is incredible value, delicious high quality ingredients perfectly balanced on a lovely base. The base is never soggy and always beautifully charred....The price is excellent value when compared to some places which charge over $22 for a large. I’ve tried a few of their pastas as well and they have been beautiful! No complaints on the food! BUT the customer service I receive at this place is just awful! Whether it is a pickup order or dine in, the kids that serve you are not very friendly nor attentive. I’ve received a lot of rude responses to phone calls, and it is often hard to grab the attention of a server. It’s never a friendly greeting when I walk into the restaurant, they know me I’m a regular, but that’s never acknowledged!! Oh well! I guess it’s a sacrifice made for great pizza!

Haven been here for years. I brought my family to here for first time. Same great pizza , service and pasta. However, it won't suits for kids. Its very noisy and loud. Recommend adults. BTW, pizza is quite small than usual so better order large...size if its for 2 ppl.
