Footscray Milking Station - Melbourne

This is quite a nice cafe, serving decent coffee and food. There are not many tables and also the cafe is like sectioned into 2 area where I find its difficult for the staff to serve hence maybe some customer find their service is not good. For us, today service is excellent from the moment we stepped into the cafe till food were served, all good. The only confusion is their tapioca pudding is actually “tapioca pearls” pudding, we thought it was the tapioca root, didn’t thought it was tapioca pearls, its two different thing actually, anyway everything is good today, will be back for more next time. <br/ <br/ *ordered:<br/ breakfast wrap <br/ tapioca pudding <br/ <br/

Really lovely café in Footscray. I had the vegan cauliflower wings and the flavours were delicious, very fresh and beautifully presented. The coffee was also great! I wished my meal was a bit bigger, but I'm generally a big eater, so could be just me.

I ordered the mushroom toast and it was delicious. The filling was generous and the pork/fennel sausage that came with it was lovely. The coffee was very good, although it was a bit too hot for my liking. It seems like the menu has been updated since I last saw it online, which was disappointing because I was really looking forward to trying the Baked Eggs. Overall, that was the only downside to an otherwise enjoyable meal.

The restaurant has a fantastic location and atmosphere. The coffee was excellent and the food was delicious. I was initially disappointed that they no longer offered baked eggs, but the Moroccan lamb was a delightful alternative. However, it appears that the menu now only offers a limited selection of mainly wraps and paninis. I recall that they had a wider variety of dishes on the menu a few years ago.

I was pleasantly surprised by this cafe. We decided to stop by on a whim while passing by and were happy we did. The staff was friendly and the decor was unique, although not quite as cozy as we had anticipated. Overall, it was a cute and enjoyable experience.
