I recently discovered this hidden gem! This restaurant opened not too long ago, and tonight was my first visit. I placed my order easily on their website. I tried the Xiao Long Bao and the Premium Beef and Spring Onion Dumplings (pan fried), both of which were cooked perfectly. The dumplings were filled with high-quality, flavorful ingredients that were easily identifiable, which is a rare find. It is evident that each dumpling was made with care and attention to detail. The restaurant itself is simple yet clean, with plenty of seating for those ordering takeout. It is clear that this is a family-run establishment, with the two sons and their father working at the front. They were friendly and courteous. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
This restaurant has some unique and delicious dishes to offer. This was my first time ordering here, but it won't be my last. The beef stir-fry was tasty, although a bit chewy. The king prawn and chicken dishes were very good as well. However, the standout was the boiled pork. The food was delivered promptly through Menulog. Be sure to try their chili oil, it's deliciously spicy.
I visited this restaurant tonight and was very impressed. The staff was friendly, the xiao long bao and pork dumplings were excellent, and the spring onion pancake was delicious.
I don’t live particularly close to Oakleigh but it was so worth the trip to try these delicious, handmade dumplings. They’re made in the back by the owner’s super sweet mother who I got the chance to meet. There are a variety of filling and preparation options, pf which I tried the tofu and veg and glass noodles served in a chilli broth. They were plump, soft and delicious. I also loved the vegetarian fried noodles with lots of veg and tofu as well as the thick, doughy scallion pancakes. If you eat meat, my partner recommends the pork xiao long bao and the fried classic pork dumplings with a deliciously crispy base.
