Auntie Mai's - Melbourne

I really enjoy this restaurant: it offers a reasonably priced lunch option on Gertrude Street. The Lemongrass chicken with rice is always delicious. There isn't a lot of seating available, but it's perfect for a quick meal.

This is one of my top choices for lunch when I'm in the area for work. While the menu isn't extensive, all of the Asian dishes are delicious. My go-to is the lemongrass beef vermicelli salad for $12. The service is fantastic and their coffee is consistently excellent as well.

I have only tried the fries from this restaurant (it's all my university student budget allows for) and they are fantastic! I shouldn't call them chips because they are actually fries, but they are delicious! It's surprising that a small Vietnamese café can make such amazing fries!

Love to coffee here, and the home made cakes. Really nice cosy place. Very friendly. Great price too. I get tattooed next door. So i come in here on break. Make sure you try the lemongrass chicken in a sandwich or roll. So tasty.

Best pho in the area, great lunch option with really nice decor and friendly customer service. Nice to sit at the window and watch the sights of Gertrude St with delicious chicken pho.
