Amba - Melbourne

On the busy stretch of Chapel Street it's always nice to find somewhere comfortable to have a coffee. Amba is a lovely little cafe run by fabulous staff who are friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the vibe, as it was relaxed but still modern, with plenty of natural light and a pretty decor. <br/ <br/ I didn't really get to look at the menu as I just popped in for coffee. It was excellent, as was the delicious carrot cake that I had with it. Service was also really good, and I can see why Amba is so popular with locals.

The restaurant is in a fantastic location, with delicious food that is served promptly and excellent service. The coffee is outstanding. The outdoor area in the back is peaceful and easily accessible.

Meal: Brunch<br/ <br/ Ordered: Super Green and The Veggie Hunter<br/ <br/ We visited Amba for Brunch and were treated to a delicious vegetarian (not veg but decided to try something different! friendly meal. Both healthy meals were delicious and not too heavy so we felt great after!The coffee was well made too. Good food, fast service, great decor and a very friendly environment. A must try place if you are in South Yarra!

The food at this restaurant was excellent. My french toast was perfectly cooked and had a unique twist on the classic dish. I always appreciate when restaurants try something new. The poached pear was incredibly tasty, with the added spice giving it a flavorful kick. The matcha latte was also very good, made with pure matcha instead of sugary mix-ins. Overall, a delicious and satisfying meal.

Oh my goodness! This place is absolutely delicious. It's conveniently located across from where we live, making it easy for us to visit. I especially love their coffee and almond muffin - both are incredibly soft and tasty. The atmosphere of the place is perfect for a morning visit. Just be sure to arrive before lunch, as things tend to sell out quickly.
