Alluvial at Intercontinental Hotel

I was a little disappointed. A fine dining restaurant with butter chicken and a chicken parma on the menu. 12 mains inc 4 burgers all priced $30+ and 4 pizzas again $30+, butter chicken, parma, steak and salmon. No wonder only 9 people were eating here at 7pm on a Saturday. Needs a rethink. I booked this restaurant when I booked to stay at the InterContinental thinking it would be hard to get in. When I arrived at reception to check in I found out if I booked via reception I would get a free beer or glass of wine, so don't book in advance.

It's a nice building but the food was both very average and very expensive.

Our one disappointment was in the limited range of the menu, albeit that we enjoyed we enjoyed the dishes that we chose.

Very nice place and foods in restaurants, recommended to friends tea time or lunch.
