Time Out Fed Square - Melbourne (VIC)

Convenient location, we had the Apple crumble dessert. Highly recommend adding the ice cream as a bonus of flavour.

The service , atmosphere and staff were good and nice,but the food was cold specially eggs both fried and scrambled were very cold.

Food was hit and miss. Some meals were quite nice (lamb curry) and others were inedible (pumpkin risotto), others were just ok (schnitzel, warm chicken salad, fish and chips). Desserts were very nice. White wine was served at room temp. Service was terrible. Very slow service to place orders, despite the restaurant being almost empty and wait staff did not seem like they wanted to be there. Meals and drinks did come out quickly once we were able to place our orders. It's a nice Cafe. It looks great and is modern and clean, in a great location. Toilets are shared public restrooms that need some attention but they're not the worst I've used.

This is quite a Melbourne institution. Every time a mate from another state or country visits Naarm I always bring them to Time Out for brunch because the vibe is just immaculate and the food is good. Rave about their Chicken Parma. There’s a limited selection of cocktails but mostly are good you couldn’t go wrong. Perfect place to bring family and friends to catch up or just to watch people navigate life around the busy vicinity of Flinders Station.

Went for dinner prior to visiting Hamer hall. We had a pizza and the warm chicken Thai salad. My friend had the Apple crumble desert also. Staff is friendly and the food is good. My only reason for a 3 star is the interior design and atmosphere which reminds a Canteen. I prefer sitting outside on a sunny day.
