Good Food Emporium Cafe - Melbourne

Super disappointed by our experience. We were here a few times, but there was something going down. We paid $75 with a service fee for the weekend for 2x avo smash and 2x drinks. We paid extra for bacon that tasted uncooked or expired and the hash brown had cinnamon sugar on it?????? The tables were not clean and there were cigarette ashes and butts near one. Have noticed that most of the time that tables with dishes, even if they are not busy. Your food in the refrigerator is much better than your menu items.

After trying five different menu items, I find another one I can order again. Prices are quite high and some of the pages are incredibly overpriced $5 for *one * mushroom). Updated by previous review on 2022-04-01

The food was excellent yesterday for the first time and the staff was very friendly. On the expensive side, but we enjoyed our meal.

Beautiful plant-based cafe in a whole food-style shop that also store piles of vegan products. They also regularly have fresh vegan croissants, cakes and various sweet and hearty treats

This place used to be one of my faves but it’s gotten a lot more pricey with fewer items on the menu since I last visited in 2020. I went a few weeks ago (April 2021) and I got a juice and a breakfast that cost $40, I had toast with scrambled tofu plus 3 extras and it was $32 which is the most I’ve ever paid for a vegan breaky. It was good but nothing mind blowing that I couldn’t make myself at home
