The Soup Shop - Melbourne

My friend invited me and I'm so glad she did. I was able to taste samples of different soups. This will literally be my new soup shop to go! The soups were delicious! I will be your customer for all my soup needs! Love it!

I visited the soup shop today because I was feeling cold and needed something warm. I ordered two large bowls of soup, and when I got home, I had a cracker for each bowl. I would have expected that a soup shop could include a few crackers with their two big servings of soup. That said, I must admit the soup itself was quite good.

We stopped by for lunch to try the soups and see their options for those who have undergone stomach bypass surgery. Many people who have had the procedure have recommended the soups and selections offered at this restaurant, and we were not disappointed. My wife, who is very particular about her food, found several different soups to choose from for each phase of her post-surgery diet. The portion sizes were excellent for the price, the flavors were outstanding, and there was a wide variety of options. I highly recommend this place for anyone who has had any form of gastric surgery or simply wants to enjoy delicious soups. Thank you, and we look forward to coming back for more soup once she has completed her recovery!

This place has the best soup ever. I dont at all understand any review less than 5 stars for this place. The quality is there! My family has lived in this town for decades but we only recently tried the soup shop. Absolutely fantastic. They allow sampling of soups which is awesome. The mexican tortilla, beer cheese, beef chili, and french onion are all incredible. My cousin got the she crab soup which was also delicious. Considering the quality and that its a long running small business, the prices are more than fair. You'd pay the same for soup that came out of a plastic bag from other restaurants! I can pay less than 20 bucks for enough soup for 2 days. Also, try their ny cheesecake. The raspberry swirl was my favorite. I will get getting soup here every week i can!!!

It’s a bit pricey, but completely worth it! I sampled three soups today, and each one was fantastic! I tried the crab bisque, creamy chicken and wild rice, and the French onion topped with Fontina cheese. They exceeded my expectations! I’m so happy there’s a dedicated soup spot. The checkout staff were also friendly and helpful! I can't wait to explore more options!
