Squid Lips - Melbourne

Beautiful landscape. Saw outside. Breeze from the river was amazing. We saw dolphins while we ate. Our waitress was great. The food was delicious. We tried a bunch of items: fish fingers. Coco shrimps. fried fish basket. Crab cake sandwich.. Hummer crabcake burger. Asian Chicken Poke Bowl. also had a signature cocktail in one of their souvenir cups. That thing was strong! Kudos to the bartender. Altogether a cute little place with a beautiful ambience. They also had live music. And he was really good.

So I'm new to this area and wanted to try something new. I have to say that this place is a must. Great environment to eat and hang a bit. We sat in the terrace and it was nice. The service was good, but slow. This is a big restaurant so it was expected. The prices were good. For food we got chip and Queso (queso was good/chips were stale). If you like onion blossoms, get the coconut onion chips (they were great). I also have Conch Fritte and they were good. Our main actors were good and nothing was bad minus the chips. The reason for 5 stars was great because of the entire experience. It's a must when in town.

Me and my buddy are here for dinner. He had fish and I had the fish and chips. We loved it both. My fish was crispy, but had no fat taste. We both agreed that the Pommes were amazing. I'll say the teersauce was better than most as it didn't taste like mayonnaise added with a few ingredients in the last minute. It was really good. I personally am very picky with the Coleslaw I like. Most of the time it is, vinegary or too sweet or not thrown enough. That was great. Excellent lunch. The service was fast and the food came hot. The views are great at this point. And I added a picture of the shirt I liked!

Excellent place with stunning views of the water. You can get great views in the indoor or outdoor areas. Gluten/Soya/dairy free items for me and delicious meat dishes for the hubs. Changing table in the women's bath. One of our fav places for lunch or dinner.

Amazing food, with a fun and entertaining atmosphere. Very friendly and attentive service (my drink never had a chance to go empty) even out on the patio. I really enjoy the patio area with a great view over the water. Everything was wonderful starting with the fresh-baked Bimini bread and its notes of pineapple and coconut in every bite, to the entrees and sides, and some decadent desserts. Nothing seemed overlooked or an afterthought. It?s a bit of a drive to visit from Orlando, but this is now on our list of special-occasion favorites!
