Olympia Cafe - Melbourne

What a beautiful and cozy family business. teddy the owner makes almost all cook and has still a heavy accent from his time in Greece, but really loves his new land found. we went to lunch, so decided on the gyro tablets and hands down the best we had in a long time. I am happy to rejoice for some aubergins, falafels, grape leaves and such. a really good place to go and repair their Greek food!

Olympia Cafe has been in the Melbourne area for many years. It's been so long that I can't remember the original location prior to them moving to their current location off US-1. The food has always been tasty with good portion sizes, the restaurant is clean and the owner's are polite. Typically, I have the lamb or chicken gyro, but I've also tried several other things including their burger, which has Mediterranean seasoning in it. Overall, it's a good place to grab lunch.

Every time I stop in, the food is always amazing. Everything is fresh or made in house, and the original gyro is absolutely the best I’ve had in the state. The homemade tzatziki compliments the sandwich perfectly without overpowering any portion of the sandwich, and somehow manages to seep into every part. I recommend this place to everyone I know.

After getting my car servicing by Mazda, they recommended me Olympia Cafe for lunch. I ordered a Creek Pizza with fresh tomatoes sauce, feta Mozzarella cheese with Gyro.It was exquisite, the ingredients are on a Pita flat Bread. It was fantastic and very fresh, The prices are affordable. Olympia Cafe is open from Monday to Saturday from 11am to 4pm. Vivian is working with Ted the Owner more than 15 years. its a quite place and with a family ambiance, almost 14 years in Busines. Fantastic! I had the gyro with fried potatoes. One of the few times the positive reviews were spot on target. Friendly couple own this place and make you feel very welcome. I’ll definitely go back. I want to try the entire menu, but the gyro was just so good. A very satisfied customer.
