Melbourne Biergarten

The pork was extremely tough and not satisfying. I was hoping for a delicious German meal but was very let down. The apple sauce was good, but overall, I was very disappointed. We had better German food when we were in Germany, so perhaps that was the issue. This was the worst experience we've had with German food in the States. I will not be returning.

The atmosphere was lovely and the service was excellent! We visited on a Saturday afternoon, so it wasn't too crowded. I ordered the watermelon mule and the bratwurst madwort, both of which were phenomenal! My fiancée tried one of their medailles and also enjoyed it. I highly recommend this place if you're in the mood for German cuisine.

The restaurant is conveniently situated in a great area. Amazing location!

Eating and the personal are simply amazing! if they are looking for big German food, this is the place they want to visit. parking can be a little difficult, as this is located in the historic city of melbourne. I would suggest a parking space at the free parking garage, which is just a short walk from the restaurant, or there is a dirt parking space over the railway tracks to the east from the restaurant. these parking places seem to have always been in place.

I’ve gone there 3 different times and the bartenders Look absolutely miserable like they hate life and all three different times I’ve gone there and waited at the bar no smiling, no hello just ignored . Every time I’ve gone it’s been pretty dead. The service has just been horrible. Kinda a shame , I felt like the place has potential but unfortunately I don’t see it lasting very long.
