Bidrage med feedbackI really want to give this place a 5-star review because I love burger king, but I just can't. the personal is some of the most rude people I ever met. I actually had someone in the car dru address me as dame like in the hey lady, what kind of drink would they want? it was very strange and inconspicuous. eating is good here.
Water dripping from the ceiling everywhere whenever I have been there and the tiles at the door are just waiting for someone to trip. Surely the BK Corp would not approve.
I was ordering when a Karen came in and flipped out on the drive thru boy who was probably around 17 or 18 years old for not putting enough ice in her drink. Instead of the manager Robert doing something, he let this poor kid get chewed out while she called him every name in the book and threatened to throw her drink all over him. Eventually I called her a Karen and she stormed out. Both restrooms were locked so I asked if they could let me in the restroom and the manager seemed extremely bothered and irritated that I asked and told me they lost it. This manager needs some communication and management skills because this was pathetic leadership. Food was good though at least.
Burger King!!! You DO KNOW the word, competition, don 't you? After stopping into this 'restaurant ' yesterday, I am wondering how you 've even managed to stay in business! And I see I 'm definitely NOT ALONE in my curiosity. A whole lot of fellow reviewers wondering the same thing. Stopping in for a quick early lunch, I ordered a Big Fish combo. As for the 'food ', it was okay. I do not eat fast food much, and this meal reminded me of WHY I don 't. Certainly nothing to be proud of.... Let 's talk about what else was WRONG here. First of all, when attempting to fill my drink cup, most of the soda products in that red Coca-Cola Freestyle drink dispenser were 'Unavailable '. I had to ask for Root Beer at the counter, they had it available back there! As I 'm looking for a seat in the dining area, I find the room temperature to be quite warm. Obviously having a problem with the air conditioning. Looking up, I see a huge area of ceiling panels removed, revealing all sorts of mechanical equipment best left unseen. I begin to wonder about possible AIR QUALITY SAFETY concerns. Below this area there is a large pan placed on top of a table to catch dripping water. This area is 'roped ' off with two 'Wet Floor ' cones and garbage bag rope. I find a small table in the 'least warm ' part of the building. As I 'm eating and looking around the place, I start noticing just how much more is wrong with this environment. Right in front of me I notice a mop bucket, full of dirty water and a mop left unattended just outside the kitchen door. Interesting, in addition to unappetizing since I see the floor is anything but clean! I see broken pieces of furniture trim and other general disrepair. I took a few pictures, which I 'm posting along with my review. Then I get some visitors......flies! Nothing more disgusting than trying to eat and having to swat at these pests. That pretty much sealed the deal for me. I noticed the dining room door closest to US1 was partially open, the door would not close fully, allowing flies easy access to the interior. Plus, how do you keep a building cool, in Florida summer heat with that? No wonder the a/c is on the fritz! For the short period of time I sat there enduring all of this, the kitchen door managed to open AND close multiple times. Three of the staff, including one I assumed to be the manager walked past me several times. The manager went outside to smoke. When she came back inside they were discussing work related issues by the door. Pretty unprofessional. Plus I 'd rather see them busy doing things like...mopping and fixing the Freestyle drink machine, etc! What really saddens me? I grew up in Miami, when Burger King had only a few stores and where they got their start. Back in those days the slogan was 'It Takes Two Hands to Handle a Whopper! ' and that was so true! The food was great, back then.. I LOVED Burger King. Families didn 't eat out a whole lot back then, but when my father would load us up into the station wagon and take us to Burger King, THAT was a real treat! Especially considering neither our homes nor our cars had air conditioning! We were true Floridians, putting up with the heat, the flies and everything tropical. So, stopping into a restaurant had more advantages than just food! Fast forward to 2019. It 's not a treat to eat with the heat, or the flies! Or dripping contaminated ceiling water. And it no longer takes two hands to handle anything but the steering wheel of the car, to get out of Burger King!
I can't even describe how terrible this location is. 3PM on a Friday and there are only 2 employees inside, moving like snails. There were 2 of us inside and 5 cars in the drive thru. I waited 7 minutes before a single sandwich was even made. The lady after me walked out as a few cars pulled out of the drive thru for lack of service. The fries were old and stale, abd the sandwicgs were just thrown together in a mess of mayo. I mean, the laziness is astounding! You could see how dirty the floor and food lines were. I worked in fast food a lomg time, and this place just needs to ve sgut down.
