Bidrage med feedbackThis was only the second time I've eaten at this diner, but I wouldn't hesitate to eat there again. My first time was lunch, my second time was breakfast, and I enjoyed both meals equally. Great service, excellent food, and moderate prices. It reminded me of the Greek diner's in N. Y. that I ate at quite often. When I'm in Melbourne the Apollo Diner will be one of my go to places.
Melissa was my server, she was really nice. the French toast was really
If it wasn't for the food, I wouldn't come here. I would never bring out of towner here. This place is truly lost in the 80's. I. Counted 5 bulbs not working. The booths are so worn you can see the insides. The waitress try to clean but there is little you can do to improve that. The decor is horrid. You can tell ownership changed and it's not Greek anymore. When it Greek, you know it's Greek. The bathrooms were disgusting. Only one bulb worked in there and it wasn't above the toilet. Maybe that's a good thing? There was no toilet paper on wall and only found out after sitting. Because no light. So I had to do the poopie shuffle walk in hopes I would find the rescue toilet paper under the sink. Not easy when toilet seat is broken. Only one roll left. The owner Manger) was as unfriendly as ryou can get. While paying he kept swinging around towards himself to check for tip. Grumbled when there wasn't one. We all know what that means. We took care of our waitress with cash.

In my opinion, there are not enough legitimate diners in the greater Melbourne area. Thankfully, Apollo Diner has been a staple locally for decades, situated on Hibiscus east of the mall. It 's a Greek diner specializing in all day breakfast, sandwiches, and classic Greek dishes.I recently had lunch at Apollo Diner with my wife and I decided to try something new called pasticcio. It caught my eye as something I had never heard of before. I looked it up and it was described as Greek lasagna . Sounds good to me! I ordered it, and I 'm so glad I did. Holy cow is this good!!!When you see it on the plate you really do think immediately of lasagna, but upon closer inspection, it 's more like baked ziti on top of shepherds pie. On top is a thick layer of ricotta-like cheese (but it 's not ricotta) with a custard-like consistency. I can 't wait to go back and try it again!Service was fantastic and the place was clean. Best of all, the prices are very reasonable! Highly recommended for any meal!
