The bartenders were excellent, and while the food was decent, the final check left a sour taste in our mouths. We dine out frequently, so the price didn’t particularly bother us, even though it was on the higher side. However, the way the bill was handled was quite off-putting. An automatic 20% tip was added without any option to choose otherwise, and then we received a final check requesting yet another tip, all without any detailed breakdown of the charges. I ordered the steak and grits, but I have to say I had a better steak at Denny's just a couple of days before. The photos I've seen from other reviewers show a presentation that is completely different from what I received. While the grits were amazing, they shouldn't be the standout element of any dish. My date and I felt like we waited forever for our food. Given these factors, along with the excessively high prices on the menu, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

Hmm, cool vibe, good service, food was bland. Made a reservation for my parents' 35th wedding anniversary. Food took over an hour to be served, was subpar, we were in six, server forgot dad's dish, took an extra half hour for his to arrive while the rest of the party ate. They charge 20% mandatory tip, which in and of itself isn't an issue, but if that's the case then the experience should be impeccable, and it was far from it. Definitely won't be going again.Update: reading the other reviews, I can see these are common issues, and not a bad luck one-off occurrence. Read them for yourself and beware.

Had a reservation set ahead of time for family visiting out of town with a note that we were celebrating an anniversary. When we arrived our table was not ready and we accepted seating outdoors, only to be placed on a corner table which had gathered quite a bit of debri outside. Following that our food took 1+ hours to be served only to have one of our party not receive their dish well after everyone finished eating. Aside from what appeared to be an awkward indirect and reluctant offer for a drink on the house, no offer was made to adjust a $400 bill for the late and overall unfortunate service provided here. Food ranged from average to very poorly balanced flavor profile for the prices charged.
