Haus Bovert - Meerbusch

Don't go here! The food has nothing to do with authentic Greek foods, it is not fresh (you can taste it and the menu is much too big that it could be fresh), the meat is dry, the sauces are really terrible and the... Owner is quite rude. I really don't understand how to consider this restaurant worth a visit.

The restaurant is easily accessible as it is close to a motorway exit. Free parking is available. The interior has not been renovated for a while. The first thing that meets your eye is a collection of candlesticks that are covered with wax... residues. They even find a lot of wax on the window sills. The tablecloth was clean and ironed. Nothing to complain. The staff is friendly and offers a attentive and fast service. I don't enjoy the duck at all because the lamb plate I ordered was covered with a garlic sauce that was so intense that the taste of the lamb was completely undermined. Besides, I must mention that the lamb cuts were rather small and the lamb fillet could have been tender. Chacun à son goût... maybe some people like the food. The mixed salad they served as an appetizer was fine, especially the dressing was pleasant.

With three generations, friendly reception possible, the food is the typical Greek international fare, but well prepapreded and tasty. Not a gourmet temple, but honest food too excellent value. The rosemary lamb fillets with roast potatoes are great!

It was super delicious! Pickup is also well organised! We like to order again and will definitely come back as soon as possible!
