Bidrage med feedbackWe decided to share the meat and cheese platters, along with some wine, cake, and coffee at this restaurant. The waitstaff was friendly and we appreciated that we were not rushed through our meal (unlike many other places that only give you a 2-hour limit). Overall, it was a very enjoyable and leisurely lunch experience.
Lovely cosy restaurant. We had a lovely meal especially the cheese croquettes!! Friendly staff and lots of cocktails to chose from too.
My wife and I couldn’t recommend the cheese rooms more the food was amazing and the staff were so lovely. We will definitely be back
I reserved a table for my yearly get-together with my university friends. I was thrilled that a friend's recommendation exceeded my expectations! We dined in the cozy upstairs 'Gin' room surrounded by candlelight. I ordered the meat and cheese boards to share, and they were delicious. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. We will definitely be returning!
First visit since changing from Topes to CRB. Food was amazing we sampled almost all the small plates and every one was as good as the next. But I think it’s needs to be noted, this is not fine dining and as such, the staff need to be more relaxed as their attitude was a huge disappointment, to the point where it had a very negative effect on the evening. I’m not sure if it was a lack of experience or an inability to deal with perceived pressure (we were upstairs and the majority of tables were actually empty at 20:30) but our waitress was pedantic to an extreme. I don’t need to counselled on the difference between hot and cold climate wines in an attempt to steer me towards certain bottles when I know what I like and have already asked for it. Also, if customers wish to choose some starting plates to come out before the ‘mains’ then that’s their prerogative and we shouldn’t need to argue over this point when we have a sitting for 2 hours. It got to the stage where we were apprehensive about engaging with her as we were made to feel we were an inconvenience, rather than paying customers. Lastly, restaurant etiquette 101 list the foods that are unavailable when you first seat the guests, not at the point of going to the kitchen with the orders. Address the service issues and stop talking down to customers then you’ve got a great all round dining experience.
