We have been using this restaurant for takeout for four years now. The service is good and the food is delicious.

The best Chinese restaurant in the Strood area. They accept both cash and cards. The staff members are all very pleasant to interact with over the phone and in person. The older lady who delivers the food is understanding if you don't always give a tip, but the younger girls might be disappointed, although they are always polite about it. Unlike some places that only accept cash, this restaurant is more flexible and even accepts small gifts in place of tips if you don't have cash on hand. The food at New Jade East is delicious. Thank you to all the staff at Jade East, and may God bless China and everyone there.

The chicken rice smelt like death it’s made my husband physically be sick it’s absolutely disgusting the curry sauce was really thick and cold we had to spoon it out he was absolutely fine till he ate that then was sick we heard that they had immagrants working in there now we are beginning to think it’s right avoid at all costs

I am surprised by the negative ratings this restaurant has received, especially considering that most of them are from many years ago. I am writing this review because my experiences dining here over the past few years have been consistently positive. This place offers one of the best takeout options in the area. The woman who takes your order over the phone is always friendly, and I enjoy chatting with her when she has the time. I have to give this restaurant a 5-star rating because, while there may be places with better food, the prices are reasonable and the quality is consistently good. This restaurant deserves a good rating.

Fantastic food huge pancake rolls flavoursome crisp and non greasy. Sweet and sour Chicken balls good sized pieces of chicken in crisp batter again non greasy. Chicken Chinese style moist good sized chicken slices in a foursome sauce with crisp noodles and special fried rice full of prawns and meat. Delivered within half a hour and nice and hot. Complimentary prawn crackers were a lovely touch
