Choaladda - Medway

Excellent food, and service at the Choallada tonight, freshly cooked which is without a doubt the best Thai food around? Always recommend this restaurant for authentic Thai food.

Visited last night, the restaurant was very busy but this did not affect the service. The food was excellent and for the large group of us all arrived at the same time. Mussels and prawns where fantastic, such a hidden gem in Strood High Street, highly recommend to anyone.

This was our first visit to this restaurant, as we usually eat at another Thai restaurant, but we will definitely be coming back. The food was excellent, delicious, and served in generous portions. The service was good and the beer was cold. We highly recommend trying the beach prawns as they are large and flavorful.

The flavors were good, but I was unsure about the scallops dish. In my opinion, scallops should be seared and crispy on the outside, rather than soft and soggy as they were served.

I’ve visited this restaurant a couple of times and it always surprises me that it’s so quiet. The food is of a high standard, and there is a large varied menu. The staff are attentive and the service is good. The prices are very reasonable. I will visit this restaurant again as well as use it as a takeaway.
