Whiskey Creek Pub - Medicine Hat

Went last night for Blaireoke. What a nice clean place. Great setup and atmosphere. No beer on tap (which is a shame) but lots of choice of bottled beer. Had some salt and pepper wings which were absolutely delicious. The only downside is that they have filled the dance floor area with 4 pool tables.

Food was ok, but atmosphere & server were terrible. Group of us were seated in a very cold room with folding tables & folding chairs that were uncomfortable. Server was more worried about the cook than giving the customer good service. She was attentive but lack a voice the could be heard over the loud music. We did ask for the music to be turned down as we were the only people in the whole room.

This place was good. Typical bar food. Waitress messed upy order but gave it toe for free, so that was really nice. The chicken burger I had was great. Service was fast and friendly. Lots of tvs in the bar. It has a patio but I didn't eat there. Place was clean. I'd come back here.

Start being the only table in the lounge and still ended up waiting a ridiculous amount of time to order drinks and food. Once our food was delivered to our table the waitress didn't come back to take drink orders for 30 minutes. Once she finally came back she wouldn't take our plates. Our plates sat at the table with us for an hour after we had finished eating. Even with napkins placed on top we had to finally ask her to remove our plates. Food was okay but definitely overpriced for what you got. The consensus from our table on the food was the fries were decent but that was it. I can see why we were the only table for quite some time.

We went on a Sat and the place was not even 1/2 full, was no band, just recorded country music. Staff was ok, food ok, mainly an older crowd so it was pretty mellow. Would like to see some live music? Dance floor is pretty small but useable. We didn't stay long, place is nice but wasn't for us, would not be our first choice for an outing, just a bit too boring and empty for us.
