If they are going to this restaurant on the dunmore road in the has, note that the restaurant has changed its names in top steakhouse. Now, it is a topsy-turvy world in which they live as if they fail if they were just a steakhouse. our four-headed party decided that this place was quiet enough to get caught. we were right, as there were only two more tables on this Monday night. our waitress was gracious enough to give us the room to chat before they push us to order (we came at 5:30 and the place closes at 8 . we ordered drinks, and my design was flat. she was confused when she poured it, as it was foamed so that she put it in the refrigerator until it calmed down. it was replaced by a bottle of beer (oh, and they had no canadier! . I order the steak neptune, which was an 8oz striplion, to come with crabs and garnel in a Bernaise sauce. the steak was in the right time, but it was tasteless and less than 1/4 inches thick. the crab was that imitation crumb meat, and the garnels were the candied cocktail garnels. the bernaise could have been a cheese sauce. the rest of the table order a pizza, seafood penne, and the captivating alfredo. the pizza was great. crust was crisp, the sauce was tasteful and well balanced, and the torte was boiled to perfection. the seafood penne was inhaled and my gast just went on and on how much seafood there was. the fatuccine was ok, not much of a mushroom Alfredo sauce, but pleasant. So how could they go so wrong on the steak? my understanding is that the place has gone through many hands over the pandemic, so I will write this renaming of the restaurants to jealous marketing that has not been offered with the quality or what was offered. but I won't eat here again.
Absolutely terrible pizza. soggy, half-cold cheese. $15.00 for tiny pizza is exaggerated. waiter do not follow covid 19 guidelines, so not only a bad tasting poor meal not healthy to be in half dark place.
I'll take every Saturday pizza and sometimes I'll smile. eating is always excellent. the owner and the staff are always friendly. the restaurant is safe during the co-vid. they were always clean and do what they can do now to keep their customers safe.
As a local I feel like this place gets overlooked, by myself included. Hubby suggested it and I'm glad he did! Spinach dip AMAZING! Chicken carbonara AMAZING!! Pizza AMAZING!! Service AMAZING!!
