Arby's - Medicine Hat

Stopped by to try the new John's Texas Chicken fast food restaurant (formally Arby's). Arrived shortly after 6pm and ordered after a short wait. After spending $32 for a basic 2-person chicken meal order - we waited about 30 mins. Not a lot of people in the restaurant. Still not served but had to go to the movie. After another 5 mins to track down the front counter person we had to leave without food or refund. This place was terrible - dirty, staff miserable and the wait excruciating. Biggest restaurant disappointment in a long while.

I use to eat here but don't anymore. However driving by today I noticed is no longer and Arby's, It is called John's. Same menu exactly. Guess he got tired with franchise fees. LOL

The food was very good for fast food, but was put off when the manager proceeded to call me out as I went to use the washroom and tell me that they are for customers only. I was in fact a customer.

I thought I would check it out after I had heard that Arby's had "closed" and that it is now called John's. Anyway, I want through the drive thru (the dining room was closed) and I couldn't help but notice that all the signage that referred to the restaurant as Arbys was taken down. The electronic sign said "JOHN'S". I pulled up and noticed that the menu was a condensed Arbys menu. I had what was my favorite arbys item. Tasted just like Arbys. Things that make you go MMMMMM.

I've always enjoyed the Arby's beef and cheddar sandwiches. I used to love the deep fried onion chunks (can't recall the menu name) and wish they would bring them back.
