Bidrage med feedbackIt is certainly not The Town House of old. For those who are looking for a quiet to modertate noise level The Town House is very loud. Both dining areas have bars where large number of a younger crowd gathered . The recorded music was geared toward them and definitely too loud and was pounding during the entire visit. This was a visit for dinner not sure what lunch would be like.
The short rib was incredible. Other two guests liked their dinner too. They ran out of one of the two desserts we ordered, and gave us the other two on the menu free of charge for our wait, which was really appreciated. My only problem when we came in and were seated, we were put at a high top near the outdoor section RIGHT next to the door with a really cold draft coming in every time the door opened. We were moved after we asked to be, but it doesn't make sense to me that we'd reserve a table days ahead of time to get put at the worst table possible. Wouldn't think I'd have to, but now I know to ask not to be seated at a high top by the door the next time I make a reservation.
Crazy busy on Saturday night. Service therefore slow but it suited us. My biggest complaint was that we ended up with a high top that had stools on one side and a wall bench on the other. Stools were fine, but bench was so uncomfortable I made my kid sit on it.
We were a party of 8 with 4 kids our table was sat so tightly close to another large party where we could barely get in and out of our seats which made it hard to interact with the party and help the kids eat . The closeness also restricted the server and food runners from being able to serve the food without assistance from us passing plates which we didn't mind but it was not ideal . Would have preferred if the server checked in more to refill drinks . Food was great
Incredibly loud. Sorry to see the place already in disrepair. Spray foam protruding from the fireplace and around booths. Service was good tonight but the food was mediocre. There are so many more enjoyable spots in Media where one can actually hear a person two feet away.
