La Bella Pizza - Medford

I just visited “La Bella” Pizza in Medford, NJ, and I can’t say enough good things about it! This is, without a doubt, the best pizza I’ve ever had, and I’ve had quite a bit of pizza in my time! As a Philly native currently job hunting, I usually don’t write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience. The staff here is fantastic, and the food is outstanding! The pizza slices are enormous and incredibly tasty! The service was attentive and perfect! You absolutely have to try their rice balls; they’re incredible! Thank you, “La Bella,” for a delightful meal and a wonderful experience with your amazing staff!

One unique aspect of this pizzeria is its selection of sodas. They offer grape soda, birch beer, and root beer, among possibly others, though I can’t recall them all. I chose the birch beer, which was quite enjoyable. It wasn't overly fizzy and had a milder spice than what I've had before. The flavor paired nicely with the pizza slice. The pizza had a thin crust on the bottom, with the sauce layered over the cheese. The sauce was spicier than what I typically enjoy, likely due to the generous sprinkle of oregano leaves. While the oregano got a bit stuck in my teeth, it didn’t detract from the overall experience; it contributed a delightful spicy flavor to the pizza. The crust was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The owner also surprised me by offering a few garlic knots, which were very tasty. While they weren't hot, they had an excellent balance of garlic and butter. It was a kind gesture from him, and it certainly enhanced my experience, making me feel special. Overall, the pizza was quite good, and I would love to return if I'm ever in the area again.

Excellent service and delicious food in this quaint little Italian spot. The pizzas are consistently tasty, and the wings and dinner options are fantastic as well.
